NewCap Partners Inc. and JS Cresvale International Ltd. form strategic M&A relationship

October 12, 2002 - Los Angeles, CA - NewCap Partners, Inc, a Los Angeles based investment banking firm, announced that it has entered into a strategic relationship with JS Cresvale International, an investment banking firm headquartered in Hong Kong, and its affiliate office in Shanghai, China. The two firms will jointly focus on trans-border merger and acquisition transactions, primarily between US companies and companies in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

NewCap Partners has been focused on corporate finance transaction in the Greater China Region which encompasses China, Hong Kong and Taiwan since 1991. NewCap Partners has been advising US companies on identifying and consummating M&A, joint venture, and investment opportunities in China since 1991. According to David Kuo, a Principal at NewCap Partners, "China has gone through an amazing transformation over the past several years and as a result of China's WTO accession we expect there to be a dramatic increase in activity between companies in the US and companies in China.
