MARCUS Y. HO - RESEARCH DIRECTOR

Mr. Ho joined NewCap Partners as a Research Director in 2007 after completing his MBA in Finance at the USC Marshall School of Business.  As part of the transaction team, he assists in the evaluation and consummation of mergers and acquisitions, management buyout, and private equity transactions.  He performs company/industry research, financial modeling, and valuation analysis.

Prior to joining NewCap Partners, Mr. Ho worked at GC3, a private investment firm, where he focused on internet and media related projects performing due diligence and creating financial models and strategic business development proposals for new investment opportunities.  Prior to attending the USC Marshall School of Business, Mr. Ho worked in Taiwan for the Taiwan Solidarity Union, a political party, as the Communications Coordinator helping campaign for several legislative candidates in the Chiayi region where he was nominated to attend former Taiwan President Lee Teng-Hui’s Young Leaders Class 2004.

Mr. Ho obtained his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine. He is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.
